Woven seamlessly throughout Corey’s novel is the theme of families, however defined, and the ties that bind them. While turning the pages, Corey hopes his story will compel readers to contemplate whether whether there really is such a thing as coincidence and whether people are naturally inclined to “do the right thing” as they define it in their lives.
